N-Acetyl-Selank is a nootropic, anxiolytic peptide based drug developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. N-Acetyl-Selank is a heptapeptide with the sequence Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro. It is a synthetic analogue of a human tetrapeptide tuftsin.

N-Acetyl-Selank is an anxiolytic peptide with similar effects to those of mild tranquillisers. It has been shown to restore cognitive function, normalise adrenal function and improve immunoregulation.

N-Acetyl-Selank also has nootropic effects. It increases learning abilities, memory and concentration and has neuroprotective qualities.

N-Acetyl-Selank has an effect on the metabolism of monoamines in the brain via enhancement of the catecholaminergic and serotonergic systems.
